Our team
With tonnes of character, unbeatable woodland views and – of course – great-value pub grub, the Royal Forest has it all when you’re looking for family restaurants in Greater London. Come and join our bright and bubbly team for some mouth-watering meals – whatever the occasion, we’ll go above and beyond to make your visit one to remember. We love supporting our community, too, which is why we raise money for several local charities as well as the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Fun fact – the original Royal Forest Hotel was built in 1879 by Loughton architect Edmond Egan, who also designed several other buildings in the area. The hotel had to be rebuilt following a fire in 1912, but its original charm lives on throughout the Brewers Fayre we know and love today – like in our stained-glass window of the famous Epping Hunt!
Our location
You’ll love the location of our Royal Forest Brewers Fayre when you’re looking for family restaurants in Chingford. We’re just next door to Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge and Chingford Golf Course – which is the oldest course in Essex! Picture-perfect Epping Forest is right on our doorstep, too – one of the most popular places to visit in Greater London – so we’re in an ideal spot if you fancy taking a walk around the woodland before dinner.
Why we love Chingford
When it comes to charming UK towns, it’s easy to see why Chingford is one of the most popular places to visit in Greater London. Whether you’re enjoying fun family activities at Lee Valley, spending days out with the kids at Paradise Wildlife Park, or soaking up the great outdoors with a walk around beautiful Epping Forest, our popular restaurant is close to all the best things to do in London.
At Brewers Fayre, we love to be generous, and Bonus Club is all about great savings, free bonuses and tasty treats!
