SUNDAY ROAST

Brewers Fayre Burton House Pub Restaurant in Boston, Lincolnshire

Serving Delicious Pub Food, Breakfasts & Sunday Carvery

Welcome to the Burton House, Brewers Fayre in Boston. We serve great pub classics at unbeatable prices – we’re the best spot for family dinners, comfy drinks and delicious breakfasts. We’re based in a beautiful, historic building on the outskirts of Boston – ideal for relaxing meals with friends and family.

Our team
We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming place for our guests to eat and relax in. Our team go the extra mile to make sure every meal is the best it can be, and we have a reputation for treating all the locals and our guests like family. Most of our team have worked together for a long time, and some have even been with us for over 30 years!

We’re a fixture in the community and we do our best to help local charities. We’ve been raising money for a local guide dogs charity for over 15 years. We’re also the venue for the local town park run, which gets together every Saturday morning and uses our restaurant as a base to refuel.

Our location
Our humble restaurant has quite the history to it! Burton House, or Shag Hall as it was originally, was built in the early 19th century by a tobacco merchant, before being gifted to the then mayor of Boston who named it Burton Hall. The grounds have changed a lot since then, and it wasn’t until the 1980s that Whitbread bought the site and created what is now the modern day Burton House restaurant.

Our restaurant has plenty of space, so we’ve split it into two zones – a family area and a quiet dining area. Our family area is great for meals out with the kids, there’s room for little ones to run about and it’s close to the play area. Our quiet dining area is on a raised platform opposite the bar and it’s perfect for romantic nights out, a quiet dinner by yourself or just generally for relaxing while you eat. If there’s an area you prefer, we recommend booking ahead and letting us know. The quiet dining area can get quite popular – unfortunately we can’t always guarantee seats there.

We have a brilliant play area in the rear garden suitable for children of 8 and above, it really takes the hassle out of family mealtimes! We also have a great outdoor pub garden, with tables on the patio and in the garden – perfect for a pint or a bite to eat in the sunshine.

Make sure to take a look at our offers page for all our latest deals and promotions.

Why we love Boston
Boston is full of history and embodies the best of the UK’s old fishing towns. Boston has gone from cattle markets in the town centre to a favourite for holidays and seeing the best of Lincolnshire. Now when people come to Boston, they stay for its stunning sights and things to do, and our restaurant is a great base for exploring them.

One of Boston’s most famous sights is Boston Stump (or St Botolph’s Church, as per its official name), in the centre of town. This historic church was built in 1309 and can be seen on a clear day as far away as Norfolk, standing at 81.31m tall! We’re only about a mile away, perfect for a stroll after dinner. While you’re nearby, the Guildhall right next door was built in 1390 and is definitely worth a visit too. The Guildhall is a fascinating museum filled with works of art, including a rare portrait of Sir Joseph Banks by Thomas Phillips.

If you’re looking for a walk in the great outdoors, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is spot on for a family day out. It’s full of exotic animals like Bengal tigers, white lions, pumas, and over 2000 birds, all close by and ready to wow you!

The Carrington Rally is a really popular event close to Boston. It’s a showcase of Lincolnshire’s oldest steam-powered vehicles and the town’s heritage, and has exhibits of the most amazing and nostalgic steam trains, engines and other pieces from throughout Boston’s modern history.

We serve a lot of pub classics at the Burton House, but our most popular meal is a twist on one of our favourite dishes: our Chicken Tikka Curry. Served with fluffy white rice and plain naan bread, it’s the perfect combination of spice and flavour to really set off a great dinner or lunch. Our Tandoori Mixed Grill always does well, too!

You can’t go wrong with a Sunday roast at the Burton House. Choose from hand-carved roast beef, succulent turkey, hand-carved gammon or our special fake & ale pie. You also get unlimited roast potatoes and other extras. We also have a Sunday carvery where you can enjoy a slice of everything that takes your fancy.

It’s got to be the Premier Inn Breakfast, which we serve at the Burton House. An unlimited selection of the best of an English breakfast. That’s bacon, eggs cooked just how you like them, hash browns, black pudding, bagels, muffins, toast and plenty more with free tea and coffee.

We’re really family friendly. We have family areas in our restaurant, an outdoor play area that’s perfect for kids of a variety of ages and our team are all great with kids too. Add our brilliant kids’ menu into the mix and you have yourself one hassle-free family meal!
