We're a Force for Good at Brewers Fayre
At Brewers Fayre we want to be a Force for Good in everything we do. Force for Good is about helping everyone - our guests, team members and suppliers – to live and work well.
We believe in creating an environment where everyone who works for us can reach their full potential, ensuring we reduce our impact on the environment and invest in the communities we operate in.
At Whitbread*, we are proud to have donated over 500,000 meals to those in need, working with key charity partners including FareShare and The Real Junk Food Project. Altogether, that’s approximately 9,800 tomatoes, over 2,100 potatoes, 4,000 bananas, over 80,000 eggs and 15,500 pints of milk. We’re donating more every week, and are pleased that we can do our bit to make a difference for our teams, guests and our suppliers during these times.
Whitbread has been partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH Charity) since 2012. Our team members, guests and suppliers have shown incredible generosity and dedication to the partnership, and the money we have raised together goes to supporting seriously ill children across the UK. Collectively we raised £7.5 million to help build the Premier Inn Clinical Building which has been open for a few years already, providing facilities for the important work that Great Ormond Street Hospital do. We then reached our further pledge of £10 million to build a Sight & Sound centre – that’s £17.5 million total raised! And we didn’t stop there – in 2020/21, our teams raised a further £300,000 throughout lockdown for GOSH. Thank you to everyone who helped us in this mission so far!
We welcome millions of guests into our restaurants every year. As part of our Force for Good programme we passionately believe in serving delicious great quality, responsibly sourced, affordable food and drink and to enable our guests to make easier healthier and informed choices with honest, accessible and clear information.
